SUBMARINE OVERDUE.

THISTLE BELIEVED LOST. Received April ]B, 9 a.ni. LONDON. April 17. An Admiralty communique states that the submarine Thistle, operating in the North Sea, is considerably overdue and is presumed to have been lost. The Thistle is a sister ship of H.M.S. Truant, which torpedoed and sank a German cruiser, believed to be the Karlsruhe.
