What might be described as a Communist hunt was initiated by the Returned Soldiers’ Association, at a meeting attended by representatives oi local bodies, political and sporting organisations. Suggestions lor combating tile party's activities included tile formation oi a national del once corps comprising returned soldiers equipped on a war looting and ready to march at 24 hours’ notice.. The discussion was referred to the organisations represented.
