BURGLAR DISTURBED.

AFTER DARING ENTRY. Per Press Association. WAIPUKURAU, Feb. 1.. At about 2 a.m. to-day a burglar in the Central Hawke’s Bay Electric Power Board’s temporary offices was disturbed by the nightwatchman. Gelignite was plugged in the safe and a fuse attached. Entry was made through a ventilator a.bove the main doors. It was a very daring attempt,., the offices being brightly lit all night.
