TAKARO CUP. (From Our Own Correspondent.) FOXTON, Jan. 31. On Saturday a Takaro rink visited Foxton to play the holders of the Takaro Cup who won comfortably by 28 points to 17. Foxton: Scaddcn, Christie, Trueman, Matter (skip), Takaro, Cookslcy, Spilman, Morgan, Ivey (skip). NEW PLYMOUTH TOURNAMENT. The rink consisting of J. Kershaw, J. Croucher, R. Roare, and J. M. Thomson, which took part in the Taranaki tournament last week, had a measure of success, qualifying for the post-section play with six wins and two losses. In the succeeding games, however, they were unsuccessful, losing twice and thus retiring from the contets.
