PERSECUTION OF JEWS.
NEW GERMAN DECREE. Received February 1, 11.20 a.m. LONDON, Jan. 31. The Daily Telegraph’s Berlin correspondent says that, •as further protection for “Aryan” traders, Jewish wholesalers and retailers are forbidden to advertise, The onslaught against the few remaining Jewish banks is well advanced. The campaign is only part of a determined effort to relegate the Jews altogether from German economic life and relegate them to the Ghetto. General Goering stated that when the four-year plan was completed there would not be a single Jew with business interests left in Germany. RUMANIAN ORDER. EXPROPRIATION OF PROPERTY. Received February 1, 11.10 a.m. BUCHAREST, Jan. 31. A new decree orders the expropriation of Jewish house property and real estate in the province of Bukovina. Land belonging to the Jewish religious community must be handed to tne Greek Orthodox Church. . The Association of Civil Fmgmeers has expelled all Jewish members.
