DEAD IN BARCELONA. __ } REBELS BOMB CITY. CHILD REFUGEES KILLED. (United Press Association.-—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.). Received January 31, 9.50 a.m. BARCELONA, Jan. 30. The insurgent air raiders heavily bombed the outskirts of the city in the early morning to-day. They returned later and flew over the heart of the city. it is semi-offieially estimated that 300 were killed and 500 injured. Thirty-three buildings were hit, including two four-storey tenement houses in which the victims were entombed. The rescuers were still finding bodies after , the first raid when the second one occurred. CHILDREN PERISH. A bomb partly destroyed a home for child ref ugees, killing scores of little inmates. Five buildings in one square collapsed, burying the square to a depth of I.sft. Members of the Red Cross later reported that 400 were killed and 900 injured.
