BURIAL AT HOME.
EX-KAISER’S DESIRE. DOORN, Jan. 27. Wearing the uniform of a fieldmarshal, the ex-Kaiser presided over a gala banquet in celebration of his 79th birthday. He was surrounded by his family, including the ex-Crown Prince, known in .war time as “Little Willie.” . ,
The Daily Herald’s Doom correspondent said that reading his will at a family gathering, the ex-Kaiser revealed that he wanted to be buried in the grounds of his Doom House. He has designed his own gravestone and epitaph. He desired that Germany should not be made to feel his death or asked to mourn it. “I would dearly love to be buried at Potsdam beside my first wife, but I am afraid the occasion would be used as a means for propaganda, and might lead to demonstrations,” he said. The Crown Prince promised that the ex-Kaiser’s wishes would be carried out.
