(From Our Own Correspondent.) COLYTON, Jan. 26.

Mr D. Shortall is on an extended holiday in the South Island. Among holiday makers at the Foxton Beach are Mr and Mrs G. Parker and family and Mr and Mrs M. Parker and family. Miss A. Funston is spending a holiday with her parents. Miss J. Smith is spending the vacation in Wellington as the guest of Miss Peggy Baker. Miss N: Hansen, who has been holidaying in the North Auckland district, has returned to her home, “Shadlcigli.” Miss N. Williamson is in Wanganui.

Members of the local combined AratikaC'olyton Tennis Club journeyed to Feilding on Saturday to participate in tho annual lawn tennis tournament, which proved very popular with country clubs.
