SHEEPSKIN, HIDE AND TALLOW SALE.

WELLINGTON VALUES. At the fortnightly Wellington sale of sheepskins, hides tallow, and sundries, a comparatively small offering was submitted to the usual attendance of buyers by Dalgoty and-C'py., Ltd. (inc. in England), Sheepskins: The market was somewhat erratic, but dry skins in most cases can bo quoted as being easier by id to jd per lb. Hides: A fair demand was met, with an casing tendency in evidence, medium and light weights declined by id to gd per lb, kip and yearling by id to id per lb. The enquiry for calfskins was maintained, however, and values remained firm on last sales quotations, fallow: .No quotable change, the following is the range cf prices:— Sheepskins.—Fine crossbred, 5Jd to 9d; medium crossbred, 7d to B^d; coarse crossbred, 6id to Bid ; half wools, sgd to 7£d; quarter wools, 5d to sid; pelts, 3d to sid.
