DUNEDIN SALE.
REDUCED YIELD. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, Jan. 25. There wa3 a decrease of more than £125,000 in tho gross proceeds from the first Duncdin wool sale this season as compared with the returns from the corresponding auction of tho preceding selling season. The sum of about £119,000 of this season's largo deficit is accounted for by tho smaller offering at tho opening sale this year, there being about 7000 fewer bales sold, but tho remaining £130,000 can bo explained only by tho considerable drop in the level of the wool values ruling at the 1937-58 auctions. •■
