WOODVILLE SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on the Woodvillc sale as under:—A moderate entry of lambs, with a good offering of beef came forward to the abovo sale and we have to report a 100 per cent, clearance in all sections at values which proved satisfactory to vendors. Due to the beneficial rains the sheep entry was lighter than advertised, vendors now being in a position to hold; nevertheless, several pens of good conditioned woolly lambs met with spirited competition at values ahead of those ruling over the past week. - One pen of specially good woolly b.f. lambs offered on account of Mr A. Arlidge realised 19s. Fat cattle also mot with a ready sale at full late rates. A fair offering of store cattle and bulls sold on a par with values ruling at other sales over the past week. Quotations :—Good woolly b.f. lambs, 16s, 16s 6d, 17s, to 19s; small woolly b.f, lambs, 13s, 13s 6d to 14s; fat cows, ex tho dairy, £4, £4 10s, £4 15s, £5, £5 10s, £5 15s, £6, £6 10s, £7, to £7 7s 6d; fat P.A. cows, £7 to £7 7s 6d; small 15mos. heifers, £3, £3 ss; storo cows, £3, £3 5s £3 10s, £3' 15s; bulls, £5, £5 ss, £5 10s, £5 15s, £6, to £6 7s 6d.

PAHIATUA SALE. At the iPahiatua weekly stock sale a medium yarding of sheep was offered to a largo attendance of local and outside buyers. The moderate yarding was caused through heavy gains the day previous to the sale, making mustering and drafting difficult, and the offering comprised mostly .medium to tail-end lots A which showed a definite increase on last week’s realisations from Is 6d to 2s per head. A total clear■aneo was affected. ■ Quotations: Good medium wlf. w. - lambs, ' 15s 9d, 15s, 14s 7d, 13s sd, 12s 5d to 12s 4d (smaller sorts), 103 6d, 10s, 9s 6d, 9s 4d, 9s to 8s 9d (culls), 7s 9d, 7s 4d, 7s to 6s; b.f. lambs, 13s sd, 12s 6d, 12s to 11s 9d; b.f. lambs, (fat), 20s to 19s 6d; b.f. 2-ths (good), 24s 9d, medium condition 225; 2-th wethers, medium to small 21s 5d to 21s 3d; 2-th ewes, medium, 30s; b.f. rams, aged, 1! guineas. Pigs: Good weaners, 21s; medium, 14s; small sorts, 11s. Cattlo: Empty cows, £3 10s. Store pigs: Good, 30s.
