The Australian bowling carnival was continued to-day with the pans championship, only twenty of the 560 pairs 1 ailing to appoar. All greens were satisfactory. Robinson and Livingstone beat a Tasmanian pair, 23 —18; Somervell and Jury won, 20—14; Proud and Hosking won, 15— 10; Macey and Denison won, 23 —21; Skinner and 'Bray lost, 12—21; Whitten and Whiteside lost, 10—23; Chambers and Davis lost, 7—28; Ure and Rankin lost, 12—15; Best and Wilkinson lost, 19—21; Osmond and Goldfinch won, 20—15; Harlow and Austin won, 17—14; Carbines and Griffith won, 22—18; Coutts and' Leach drew, 14—14; Pomeroy and Hawking lost, 8—31 ; Jackson and.
