EMBASSY DESTROYED.
INCENDIARISM SUSPECTED
Received January 24, 10.5 a.m. HANKOW, Jan. 23.
It is suspected that an incendiary fire gutted the Soviet Embassy in the French Concession.
The majority of the staff are at Chungking, where the Ambassador (M. Lugancts Orclsky), the first foreign envoy to do so, presented his credentials.
