MUNICIPAL BAND.

PICNIC AT FOXTON BEACH. During the week-end members of the Fcilding Municipal Band and their wives and families held a picnic at Foxton Beach. Favoured with a beautifully fine day, the outing proved a very enjoyable one, there being 200 people present. The band played over the test pieces for the forthcoming band contest to an interested circle of spectators.
