TALLOW MARKET QUIET.
The' Bank .of New Zealand produce department has received the following advice from its London office under date January 19: —Tiie market for tallow is quiet. Nominal quotations: Good mutton, 23s to 23s Gd per cwt.; good beef and mixed, 20s to 20s 6d per cwt; gut, 17s to 18s Gd per cwt.
