CENTENNIAL EXHIBITION.

Mr Charles P. Hainsworth, general manager of the New Zealand Centennial Exhibition Company, left Wellington for 'Auckland last evening to catch the Aorangi for Vancouver. Mr Hainsworth, when interviewed yesterday, said that during his seven months’ absence abroad he expected to travel at least 80,000 miles on behalf of the exhibition. He has arranged to travel across Canada in time to leave Halifax for Glasgow on March 26. The main purpose of Mr Hainsworth’s tour is to interview representatives of Governments—particularly those of Canada, Great Britain, Northern Ireland and Australia—which have been invited by the New Zealand Government to take part in the exhibition, and to bring the negotiations to finality.
