TARIFF REDUCTIONS.
INTENTIONS IN NORTH CHINA. (Times Cables.) Received January 22, 12.40 p.m. LONDON, Jan. 21. The Peking correspondent of the Times says that the Provisional Government lias announced a series of reductions in the North China Customs and tariffs. The report that it is its intention to discriminate is denied, but Japan will benefit most by the changes.
