CONFIDENCE IN PREMIER. FRENCH REORGANISATION. (United Press Association'—By Eleotric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received January 22, 12.50 p.m. PARIS, Jan. 21. Socialists and Communists, having pledged their support, the Chamber of Deputies passed a vote of confidence in M. Chautemps by 601 votes to 1, with 70 abstentions. The hostile voter was M. Gaston Bergery, the real founder of the Popular Front. M. Chautemps read his policy speech. He declared, in reference to the Cagoulards, that the Government would unmask the guilty persons and would submit them to the penalties of the law. The social advantages, which the working class had just acquired, added the Premier, would not be impaired. Further legislation on the matter would be submitted safeguarding the interests of the employers and the employees and providing for workers’ pensions. The Budget equilibrium would be maintained and monetary freedom respected.
