CRICKET.

FEILDING v. MANAWATU. The annual cricket match between the Manawatu B team and Feilding for the Goldfinch and Cousins Cup was .played at the Sportsground to-day under splendid weather conditions. Feilding took first strike and at the luncheon adjournment had scored 152 for the loss of four wickets. The opening was rather disastrous, two wickets being down for 20 runs. Scoring was slow, taking 80 minutes to compile 40 runs. Carter, who has scored two centuries this season, was always cautious in knocking up 49 but play livened up when Dunn got going. His 74, not out, this morning was an attractive strike and he put on his last 30 runs in less than 10 minutes. Details: FEILDING. Carter, c Wheatley, b J.
