CARNEGIE GRANT.

AWARD TO TRAFFIC OFFICER. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON. Jan. 21. Mr G. N. T. Goldie, assistant-chief traffic inspector of Wellington, has been made a travelling visitor’s grant by the Carnegie Trust Corporation, subject to the City Council’s consent. He intends to study town planning and traffic developments abroad. Mr Goldie is a member of the Institute of - Surveyors, an associate member of the Town Planning Institute of England and a member of the council of the Town Planning Institute of New Zealand. Quite recently he was admitted to the Institute of Traffic Engineers, New York.
