WORKERS RESUME.

NAPIER WOOL STRIKE. Per Press Association. NAPIER, Jan. 21. At a mass meeting of the wool store workers this morning it was decided to resume work at 1 o’clock this afternoon acting on the Minister’s assurance that the men will receive retrospective pay. The president of the Woolbrokers’ Association (Mr L. C. Rolls) after a meeting of the association yesterday, met a committee of the men, and pointed out that next week three overseas vessels are due to load 20,000 bales of wool at Napier. He said that if there was no solution, the brokers would be reluctantly compelled to engage outside labour.
