HEALTH DISTRICTS.
REDUCED IN NUMBER. Alterations in the boundaries of the Central Wellington Health District, the Wanganui-Horowlienua Health District, and the Wairarapa-Hawke’s Bay Health District are announced in the Gazette issued last evening. The effect of the changes is to include these three districts in two districts, which will in future be known as the Wellington-Hawke’s Bay Health District and the Central Wellington Health District. They will comprise the following areas:— Wellington-Hawke’s Bay Health District. —All that area comprising the counties of Patea, Waitotara, Waimarino, Wanganui. Rangitikei, Kiwitea, Poliangina, Oroua, Manawatu, Ivairanga, Horowhenua, Woodville, Weber, Darinevirke, Waipukurau, Patangata, Waipawa, and Hawke’s Bay and all boroughs and town districts geographically contained in or contiguous to the said counties. Central Wellington Health District.—All that area comprising the counties of Hutt, Makara, Featlierston, Wairarapa South, Masterton, Mauriceville, Castlepoint, Eketahuna, Akitio, and Paliiatua, and all boroughs and town districts geographically contained in or contigous to the said counties.
