DAVIS CUP TEAM.
NEW ZEALAND NOMINEES. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Jan. 20. The secretary of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association, Mr H. N. Burns, states that he has received the following nominations for the New Zealand Davis Cup team and for the junior girls' team to visit Australia:— Davis Cup Team.—C. Angas (Canterbury). N. Edwards, N. Bedford, D. C. Coombe (Wellington), N. G. Sturt, A. Brown (Auckland). Junior Girls' Team.—Misses K; Armstrong (Canterbury), J. Douthett, J. Bedford, B. Dale, L. Akel, J. Forrester (Wellington), P. Cookt (Auckland), and R. Wilson (Southland). There is an uncertainty regarding the position of Miss Margaret Beverley as no nomination for her has yet been received from the Waikato Lawn Tennis Association.
