GERMANY’S PART. Received Janunrv 20. 10.15 a.m. BERLIN, Jan. 19. _ An official statement admits mediation in the Chinese-Japanese conflict, which has been repeatedly denied, and says it has been undertaken in response to the wish of both parties. Germany’s part is confined to forwarding communications from the one Government to tlie other.
