POSITION AT AUCKLAND.

Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Aug. 19. With a full agreement between the Wellington Waterside Workers’ Union and the Wellington Waterfront Labour Bureau the road is now open for the long delayed inauguration of the Auckland Bureau. It is estimated the final points will be cleared up in time to allow the Auckland Bureau to open on September 1. The original plans provided for the opening of the bureau early in July, but Auckland was unable to make any move until Wellington, the headquarters of the Waterside Workers’ Union, had finalised its operative clauses. The Aucklan Bureau’s organisation is ready to handle the change, and it is expected the new system will begin smoothly.
