SUNDAY CONCERT.

One of the best Sunday concerts for many years will take place on Sunday night at the State Theatre. Travelling at their own expense, the General Motors concert party have kindly offered to' assist the committee working on behalf of the School Queen at Whakarongo, Miss Lynda Speedy. By aranging an attractive programme of 32 artists, there Wellington visitors are helping a good cause in a very practical manner, and no doubt the State Theatre will be packed. The public are advised to book their seats at tho N.Z.I. Co. The sum of Is is charged, and the plan is filling fast. |
