BRITAIN’S AIRCRAFT
NUMBERS INCREASING. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) Received August 16, 11.45 a.m. LONDON, Aug. 15. Britain now possesses 1542 frontline aircraft for home defence, which will be increased to 1750 in March, 1939, besides 450 for overseas service and 450 in the Fleet Air Arm at that date.
