£IO,OOO CONTRACT.
Richard Tauber has signed ,a contract to give a series of radio and concert performances in the United States during the winter, states a London correspondent. The value of the contract is said to be approximately £IO,OOO. Tauber will be accompanied by his wife, who is Miss Diana Napier, the British actress. His first concert will take place in October, m New York. Tauber’s comment was: “It is a marvellous opportunity.”
