NEW PLANS FOR COVENT GARDEN. LONDON. July 27. A neiv syndicate lias taken tlie Royal Opera House. Covent Garden. It intends to keep the theatre open all the year round for the next five years, as in its heyday. In recent years, the Opera llon6e has been sublet for s ; x months' during each winfpr for ballroom dancing. It is intended to have an old-style Christmas, pantomime, and ballet and opera during the rest of the year.
