(From Our Own Correspondent./ KELVIN GROVE, Aug. 12. There was a fair attendance at the fortnightly euchre party. The ladies’ first prize went to . Mrs Olsen, and Mr Olsen won the men’s first prize. The consolation prizes were won by Mrs Ilarvey and Mr Williams. After supper, dancing was held. Misses C. and M. Fay have returned home. Mr W. Fay has also returned from a visit to Christchurch. Mr and Mrs B. Russell have taken up their residence in Kelvin Grove. Lambs are making their appearance in the fields. The grass is beginning to make more growth with the advent of spring.
