£300,000 FRAUD.
DISTRIBUTION OF ESTATE. FALSE LIST OF HEIRS! Received August 13, 10.15 a.m. PARIS, Aug. 12. Paris newspapers describe a fraud whereby the Court was induced to distribute to swindlers the £300,000 estate of a Russian, Admiral Alexieff. A man now living in Venezuela, whose haul was £151,000, collaborated with a Russian notary in preparing a list of heirs, including a woman friend and the Admiral’s chauffeur, who each received £9OOO. The’ notary was similarly rewarded.
