OFFENDING JOURNALISTS.
TWO LEAVE BRITAIN. LONDON, Aug. 7. The German correspondents whose permits to stay in Britain the Home Office lias refused to renew are Herr Crome, chief London correspondent of the Lokal Anzeiger, Herr Wrede, his colleague, and Herr Lanftden, London representative of the Graf Reichsckacli Newspaper Service The Lokal Anzeiger is one of the chief Berlin dailies. Herr Crome has been its London correspondent tor three years but Herr Wrede has been in London only four months and Herr Langden two. . . Herr Crome told the Press Association that he had been given a fortnight to quit the country. The NewsChronicle states that it is reliably reported that complaints of espionage have been made against them. Herr Wrede and Herr Langden have returned to Germany. Count Reichsehach has sent a message to his 15 provincial German clients describing the explusion as a provooatory and unfriendly act, but the Official News Agency says that Germany respects "the English desire that the trio should depart.
