THREE-QUARTER MILE RACE. LONDON, Aug. 7. S. C. Wooderson in the presence of 45,000 spectators at Ibrox Park, Glasgow. despite a stiff headwind, made a 3-mile record of 3min 9.losec. R. Thomas was second and B. Ecles third. Wooderson won by 35 yards.
