News has been received that Mr R„ J. Mcllroy, M.Sc. t an old pupil of the Palmerston North Boys’ High School and Victoria College, Wellington, has been awarded the Chidlam Scholarship for post-graduate research at Birmingham University, England. Mr Mcllroy, who was at tho Boys’ High School about eight or nine years ago, was subsequently associated with the staff of Massey College before proceeding Home.
