CARNARVON.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) CARNARVON, July 1. Mrs Bathe and her two sons, Keith and Graham, of Putaruru, are visiting Mrs Frccklington, having come down to attend the Awahuri Jubilee celebrations, also the Snndon Old Boys’ gathering. AJr H. Mansell, who lias been suffering with a poisoned finger, has now recovered. Mr and Mrs J. Scott and family have returned homo. Mr and Mrs Russell, of Parcwanui, and Mr D. Rowe, of llunterville, are visiting Mr and Mrs McKclvie. The many Canarvon friends of Mrs Aggett, “The Cottage,’* Government House, will regret to learn that she is in very indifferent health at present. Mr and Mrs T. Jj. Seott are visiting Wanganui. Mrs J. C. Gibbons and her son, Mr J. Gibbons, are on holiday at National Park. Mrs Armitagc, who recently underwent a severe operation, is staying with Mrs Teague ,to recuperate. Tho end of tho duck-shooting proved very disappointing to most of the local sportsmen, the weather being too frosty for these parts.
