MODEL ’PLANES.
CLUB ACTIVITIES. Mr M. F. Carpenter presided over r recent meeting of the Imperial Model Aero Club, when it was reported that there were over thirty members whose ages ranged from 11 to 17 years. it; was agreed to hold a flying meeting on the Milson Aerodrome if permission can he obtained from the Manawatu Aero Club.
A vote of thanks was passed to Mr AV. A. Sullivan for his kindly assistance.
It was reported that teams would be visiting Palmerston North on Labour Day to participate in a flying competition. The club has already built several machines in readiness for the tourney.
Designs for a club badge were brought forward by several members, hut it was decided to hold the matter over until the next meeting. It was stated that one of the members is an adept at making engines for gasoline models. It. was resolved to hold an inter-club match with Levin in the hear future and also to approach the VTangamii Club with a view to arranging a competition.
