SUSPECT ARRESTED
AMERICAN CRIME. LOS ANGELES, July 1. Luther Down, aged 33, a transient and an alleged ex-convict, has been arrested on charge of suspicion in connection with the murders of the three young girls at Inglewood on Friday jast. He resembled the descriptions of the wanted man and also bore scratches oil his body which might have been inflicted in a struggle . and which he was unable to explain.
