ITALIAN PROPAGANDA.

ANTI-BRITISH ACTIVITY. (British Official Wireless.) Received Juno 29, 1.55 p.m. RUGBY, June 28. The Foreign Secretary (Mr R. A. Eden) answered a question in the House of Commons concerning antiBritish Italian propaganda in Palestine and Arabia and whether he proposed to protest to the Italian Government against its continuance. Mr Eden said that the British Government took strong objection to this 2>ropaganda. The Ambassador at Rome had made more than once representations to the Italian Government and he himself had spoken on the matter to the Italian Ambassador in London a fortnight ago. . He replied in the affirmative to further questions whether any undertaking had been given by the Italian Government and whether it was not against international custom- for propaganda to be indulged in by a country with which Britain was at peace.
