ENGLISH BOWLING FAILS. (United Press Association- —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) Received June 29, 1.55 p.m. LONDON, June 28. The cricketing writer of the Daily Telegraph says: “Apart from a few overs from Cover, Moloney and Roberts made the English attack look completely innocuous. These two batsmen gave us uneasy thoughts about our chances against Australia. Both batted extremely well and the New Zealanders’ reputation as courageous fighters is amply vindicated. England’s attack during the partnership dwindled into somewhat jaded impotence.”
