(From Our Own Correspondent.) An/.ao Day services were conducted on the recreation ground, when there was a large attendance, the presiding ministers being Rev. Kempthorne (Anglican) and Rev. Hail (Methodist). Anthems suitable for the occasion were sung by the combined choirs. Rev. Benum, of the Magistrate's Court, Wellington, is spending a holiday with his uncle, Mr Gallop, of Buriuythorpe.
