NEW BISHOP APPOINTED IN JUNE. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, April 27. The successor to Dr. Julius as Bishop of Christchurch will be appointed in June. About thirty names have been discussed in connection with the appointment, and letters have been written to Australia and to England in connection with some of the names, but no formal step can be taken until the Synod meets on June 9. There will be no nominations. The Synod will meet to discuss the appointment and name the new bishop.
