Events Worth Noting.

£ Tenders are invited for the erection of three cottages at Boys' Training farm, Weraroa. The Dunedin Fanciers' Club are again in evidence, and a notice; in another column informs intending exhibitors that schedules are now ready. The club's show promises to be the most successful they have yet held. The increasing interest in poultry is causing the keenest, competition amongst fanciers' who are anxiously waiting to compare specimens with rival breeders, in the desire for the .coveted ticket. The entries for the dog section promise to be sensational, as "the club have launched out and engaged at great expense Mr Court Rice, of Sydney, who has the reputation of being the greatest dog judge in Australasia. His presence witl be an attraction, as many of the exhibitors will be anxious to get the opinion of so celebrated a judge as regards their specimens. All information, together with schedules, may be obtained -from j. C. Lane, Palmerston North, by whom entries will be accepted. What eminent medical men say of "Psycho-Therapy" is given on page 2* Shrewd buyers of seasonable garments should read the advertisement, on page 3, where C. M. Eoss and Co. give some of the lots on sale at their 19 days' sacrifice of showroom goods. The sale commences to-morrow morning at 10 a.m. J. B. Wilton has made further reductions in E.P. ware and all other articles. Absolutely closing up to-morrow night. Open this evening.* St. Patrick's choir will give a sacred concert on Sunday evening in the Zealandia Hall. It is notified that Monday will be observed as a whole holiday. A general meeting of members of the Y.M.CA. will be held at their rooms this evening. A social will be held in the Pohangina Town Hall on Wednesday next in connection with the Church of England
