Auction Sales, Mounsey and Co. advertise particulars of their mart sale to be held tomorrow. Large entries have been received from several people leaving the district and will be sold without reserve. At the Exchange salerooms to-morrow at 112 noon the Manawatu Auctioneering Coy. sell, produce, vehicles, drapery, boots, et c. At 1 p.m., continuation sale nursery stock on behalf Messrs H. C. Gibbons and Co., or Wellington. Harry Palmer and Go's usual weekly sale to-morrow includes good entries of produce, vegetables, fruit, bacon, table and pig potatoes, English sporting gun, 2 gramaphones, household furniture in large quantities and variety, prams, bikes, also the balance of furs, drapery, rugs, curtains, etc., unsold on Thursday, and which must be cleared regardless of cost. To-morrow Mounsey. and Co. will sell a property of 6 rooms, situated in Taouui street. The property will always let well, being so close to the Square, and will make a splendid investment. As the owner intends shortly to leave New Zealand, he has instructed the auctioneer to sell practically without reserve.
Stock Report. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report as follows: — At Raumai on Tuesday we had a full yarding and a fair attendance. Bidding for sheep was brisk and a good clearance was made. Cattle were dull of sale. Quotations : — Breeding ewes, 2rli to f.f.m., 18s, small 2th ewes 9s 6d, aged ewes 7s 7d to 9s 9d, 2th wethers 17s 6d, lambs, medium 8s 6d to 9s 6d, small lambs os 6d to 6s 6d, weaners los to 19s 6d ; forward cows £3 9s. At Mr Shute's clearing sale on Wednesday there was a good attendance in spite of the inclement weather and spirited bidding for every lot offered. The cows sold up to £7 2s 6d, the whole herd of 40 averaging £4 lis, fat cows £3 17s, weaners 8s 6d to 9s 6d, 15mo cattle 255; sows 30s to £4 3s, weaner purs 6s, norkers 13s. ,
At Palmerst on on Thursday a full yarding of cattle was offered and very few lots passed out unsold. Owing to the rough weather a number of sheep advertised did not come in. Lambs made 10s 3d to lis 6d, 2th wethers 15s, fat and forward ewes 12s 6d; springing cows ;£? 10s, good early-calving heifers ;£4 os to £5 10s, store cows 26s to 375, forward cows £2 to £3, prime fat heifers £o 4s, fat cows M, 18mo heifers 265, 2yr steers £2 los, weaners 10s to 18s 6d.
