It was decided to repair the road fence ; remove large stones from the Domain and fill in brg.j holes*; metal round small entrance gate; replaec -willows in tipper protective works; replace dead trees alongside Cemetery road ; and sundry other work. It whs reported the willow protective works were standing well. Immediately after above a meeting of the Cemetery Trustees was held, Mr Thos, Lowes chairman, when it wan decided to erect ft stile at northern fence, and also to metal main path am! form all other paths leading to graves. Miss Pinlayson is relieving post* mistress rice Mrs Hutchison, who severed her connection with the Postal Department to-day. There i« a nice dwelling attached to the post oinee, and it is to be hoped the Department will appoint a married man to the position. Final arrangements for the concert to-morrow night have been made. The only thing required is favourable weather.
