As to meanings of ifae breed iernw let me quote from a m sudani text book oa advanced agriculture (H. J, Webb, Ph.D. B.Sc.LomU A " purebred " animal is one dene ended on both sides from animals belonging to any one or the rreogrnsed pare breeds. A "crossbred" animal is otic that is the offspring of parents of two distinct breeds. A " grade " is the offspring of parentis one of which is purebred but the other is jiot. lit* " purebred," the qualification of registration set out m Mr Buchanan's clause L ensures finality. The only point to my mind a shortcoming ss not considering the food eaten by each animal during the teat, seeing that the average weight of the animals looked upop. as dairy,,breeds differs m much, which does affect the cost of producing lib of butter fat. The test is a beginning and wall open up the way for progress.—l am, etc.. Bi ttj-.k Fat,
