{From our own correspondent.) The monthly meeting of the school committee was held on Monday erenipg. Present—Mi'«rs K. C. Baunders (chairman), C. Petersen (secretary), («. Halford, S. Head, and .1. H. Vincent. The master reported as follows :—Satisfaetory work is being done in all classes* especially by the more regular pupils. The tender of P. Petersen for 2ft rata firewood at 21s was accepted. Accounts amounting to 9s 9d were passed for payment. It was decided to erect a woodshed, an.i to call the Education Board's attention to the manner in which the recent repairs to the school were efleeted. The committee do not want to take any action, but unless the parties now removing stabs from ilie school-ground see fit to stop they will hear more of it.
