The Meikle Commission.
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON. Hay 14. The Meikle Commission concluded taking evidence. Dr Findlay stated he bad a telegram from Sir Robert Stout contradicting Mrs Meikle's evidence as to the offer of £100 if certain letters were obtained. Dr Finlav also asked that Cameron's evidence should be taken on commission in London as to the accuracy of Sutherland's statement that he (Cameron) said he had a trap set for Meikle. Mr Atkinson offered no objection and the Court agreed. McNab's evidence as to whether Meikle authorised him to accept £500 in full settlement of claim will be taken on his return from England. The Commission adjourned sine die.
