There was a fair attendance at the links yesterday afternoon, the players altogether numbering about 12 couples. Tho competition for the president's medal waa won by Mrs Allan Strang (with a handicap of five) "by one dowii ou bogey. The four next best cards sent in were:—Miss McLennan, (handicap of 12) 4 down ; Mr. A. E. I. us.ell (handicap of 3) 0 down ; Mrs L. A. Abrah.in (scratch) 0 down ; Miss Ethel Abraham (12 handicap) 0 down. Tho play on th. whole was fair, but considering that there was practically no wind the scoring ought to havo b.on better.

Players aro reminded that tho handicaps for the foursome close on Friday.
