The Canterbury Jockey Club have addrd two new races to their programme for the second day of the Grand National meeting, namely—The Islington Handicap, 115 sovs., one mile, and the Hunters' Plate Handicap, 25 sovs. • At the Wellington meeting on July 20 the racing season came to an end, and " Pentagraph " publishes in the Eeferee the first batch of statistics of winning horses and sires.
