Present -Mes3rs RiMiib'o (President), Vincent (secretary), ClarVe (treasurer), Ha'tchings Porthouse.Sanders, and Freeman. j)lr David Orr was elected a member of the ciub. The secretory and Treasurer reported upon the interview they had with Mr GuV'chan re certain amendments ti his suggestion re po : its priv.es. It was propo-ed by Mr seconded by Mr Clarlto aid carried, That Mr Ga'lichan's suggestion bo adopiad. Proposed by Mr V.'icent, seconded by Mr Clarke and cr.rried, That games pbyed cornt for the po'nts prizes. Mrs Tilsloy took possession of the Commercial Hotel last evening.
A meeting of the W.C.'l'.U. to 'naugnrate a branch at was held -n the Wesleyan Church yesterday afternoon. Some thirteen ladies handed in their names as memt ev3. The following officers wr e elected :—Mrs Crichton (President), Mrs Hutchiagß and Miss Law (V'ce-Pre-sidents), Mies Scott (Treasurer), Mis Clavke (Srcie'ary), Mrs Andcew pondent). A very successful meeting t\ ,»s held in the Salvat'on Army Bar:a;ksin the eveiing.
